The Golf club in Poppi is set in the Casentino National Park on a hillside with wonderful panoramic views across the beautiful green countryside of Tuscany. The course is set at an altitude of 450 meters above sea level.    The entire nine holes is entered from the Club House and is situated on the top of the hills surrounded by oak forests.  The 9 holes are over 2775 metres and the course is a Par 36.

At many of our agritu-rismo’s and Villas we are able to offer our clients the opportunity to go Horse riding.  We are able to cater for all abilities and can offer lessons for the beginners, 1,2 or 4 hour trekking through some of the most beautiful hills and countryside in Europe for the more experienced. Alternatively we can organise rides to wine cellars where you can enjoy a meal and taste the fine Italian wines before riding back.

Mountain Biking in the Tuscan Countryside is very popular, with many tracks and paths for you to discover, many with breath taking views. We are able to provide mountain bikes for hire at some of our Agriturismo’s and advise you of some of the best routes to try, including beautiful bars and restaurants for you to try along the way. The best times to ride are in the Spring and Autumn when the weather is warm, but not too hot and the countryside is a hive of activity.

During your vacation in Tuscany, and usually by appointment only it is possible for us to arrange for you to visit some of the most well known wine cellars and discover the secrets of the production of some of the most famous wines such as: "Brunello di Montalcino" or "Chianti".  For groups it is also possible to participate at "Sommelier" wine courses or wine tasting.
